HIC Capital was founded in 2019 as an offshoot of the Helvetian Investment Club (HIC). HIC and HIC Capital are two separate entities at the University of St. Gallen that come together as one to form the largest finance society in Switzerland.

The Helvetian Investment Club (HIC) offers a membership model accessible to all students at the University of St. Gallen. It hosts a wide array of company events, annual trips to London and Frankfurt, and weekly meetings open to all HIC members. Visit their web-page here.

HIC Capital is a student-run investment fund. Its members are selected into an analyst program through a competitive application process at the beginning of each fall semester. It focuses itself solely on producing investment research and does not typically host any events open to the public.
